Location data is collected when a chauffeur starts a shift, is online for dispatch, or is assigned to / performing an active ride. Location tracking may continue when the app is minimized or the device screen is off, but only while the chauffeur’s shift or ride tracking is active and a persistent foreground-service notification is visible on the device.

We collect and use precise location data to:

  • Show dispatch and operations teams the chauffeur’s live position
  • Assign nearby rides and coordinate chauffeur availability
  • Track active trips and chauffeur progress to pickup and drop-off locations
